Happy Monday!
The kids in our area went back to school last Wednesday so I know lots of moms who consider this a ‘happy Monday’.
I remember when Boo was in school. The first week of school was filled with signing waivers, permission slips, health forms, medical releases, photo permission slips, etc. It felt more like I was signing mortgage closing documents than getting her into school! I also recall several trips to different stores to find the school supplies on her teacher’s lists. Despite how early I shopped, it never failed, something was sold out. Yes, the early bird does get the worm!
Speaking of birds – today’s video tutorial features a bird – and one who doesn’t have to go far to look for his next meal!
I’m using the Badges and Banners stamp set to create this recessed bird cage card. A few weeks ago I used this same stamp set to create a beautiful copper card, remember? In case you missed it, you can view that project HERE.
Included in today’s video are several tips that will help you achieve fun curved greetings on your cards, like the one I show here. I will also give you a great cleaning tip for your clear blocks.
I have included more photographs, along with cutting dimensions, below so be sure to scroll down past the video to view them.
Don’t forget to come back tomorrow! I’ve got a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

- Flirty Flamingo cardstock (layer) is cut 3″ x 3″
