This beautiful holiday catalog debuts tomorrow!
My sister, Krista, lives 3 hours south from my home.
We've often texted one another saying "I'm headed to T.J. Maxx, wanna meet me?" The other quickly responds with, "I'll be right over!".
Krista works full time as a paralegal – a day job. I work full time as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator – an evening and weekend job. We don't get to see one another as often as we'd like and I miss her!
I used the host stamp set "Pun Intended" to create this card. I coupled it with my favorite sentiment stamp set "Thoughtful Banners". The best part about this card – it's not gender specific.
I used the new Sweet & Sassy Framelits to create the opening through the designer paper and white cardstock layers. The smaller, red heart is from the Sweetheart Punch.
And, you know me…bling makes my heart happy!
A lit lightbulb has a special 'glow' about it so I thought mine should, too. I used a Sponge Dauber in Crushed Curry ink. I brushed off a considerable amount of the ink on scratch paper before I rubbed it over the bulb. As you can see, I wasn't careful about where the color landed.
Krista travels to Tampa often to see her three grandchildren. That helps bridge the gap. Still, there are many times I wish I could be "right over".
Who are you missing today? Maybe it's time to make them a card!
Order Studio Stamps in the Mail by September 5th OR place a $35 product order in my online store and join me for my next "Live with Lisa" on Saturday, September 17th! Details HERE!

This is a really cute card today, Lisa. I love all the hearts and the herringbone DSP. TFS
Hi HJ! Thank you! It was fun creating it. It would be a great anniversary or get well card, too. 😀
