Don't miss my "Live with Lisa" SPOTLIGHT appearance on my business Facebook page HERE, tomorrow, Thursday, September 8th at 8pm EST. I've got a cute project idea to share with you!
Recently I had a customer ask me "what's the one paper crafting product you can't live without?".
That was easy to answer -my Big Shot die cut machine!
The Stampin' Up! Big Shot is manufactured by Sizzix. BUT, did you know that WE give you a 3 year warranty? When you purchase your product from a retail store their warranty is only for 1 year. That's a 2 year difference! Even better – you get me to teach you how to use it and I provide tips and tricks so die cutting and embossing are effortless.
The Big Shot will die cut shapes and and letters and it also creates amazing texture using embossing folders. You can view our complete line of dies and embossing folders by clicking HERE.
I'm sharing a video today that showcases the brand new Greetings from Santa stamp set and the coordinating Detailed Santa Thinlits. These items can be purchased separately or in a Bundle with a 10% savings.
After watching today's video, I think you will agree, that these intricate dies are going to make gorgeous cards, gift tags and card wraps.
I've added two new PDF tutorials to my library!
I've designed the perfect size holder for 3 1/2" x 5" notecards and envelopes that can be used with any theme or event. Click on the image to take you to the tutorial library.
Touches of Texture Card Collection includes 4 different cards with exclusive designs! A soft color palette makes these cards perfect for any occasion. Click on the image to take you to the tutorial library.

How do you use the detailed Santa die cut? I’m trying to use it but having issues.
Hi Darlene! Thanks for your comment. Stampin’ Up! produced a video to help. You can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTNQDXr-IB8
Hope this helps!
Darlene, forgive me. I should have scrolled up to see which blog post you are referring to. If you’ve already watched the video and still having trouble try this – place a piece of wax paper between the die and your cardstock. I suggest cranking it through just once – in one direction. This die is very, very thin and if you repeat the cranking it can actually embed the image into your cardstock. On the other hand, if you’re finding it it’s cutting all the way through it’s because you might need to crank it through an additional time. No two Big Shot rollers have the same tension so each should be tested to see just how much you need to crank it through. If you need more help, I’d love to guide you. Email me at [email protected] Thanks!
