If you ask my family or my close friends – heck, even my customers – they'll tell you that I have one attribute that defines me. Organization.
I'm one of those 'types' that can't function in disarray. My mom teases me that I put "stuff in stuff" to organize. My junk drawer has a cool organizer that keeps my 'junk' separated. Heck, I'm typically in a hurry to find something in that drawer and those cool dividers make items easy to find. And, yes, my sock drawer is organized too – by color. That's Bob the Builders fault. I think his retired military mentality has rubbed off on me!
Over the last few weeks I've shared storage and organization tips for framelits.
Today's quick tip video will provide one more tip and this time it's for the Layering framelits. Layering Framelits come in circles, ovals and squares.
These layering dies are plentiful, too! The sizes are closely related making them great for layering images and greetings. But, because they are plentiful they are cumbersome to store.
Today's quick tip video provides a numbering/lettering system for identification and an easy double storage idea.

Wow Lisa! What a simple yet great tip. I dread getting my square and circle framelits out of the envelope. I bought magnetic sheets but never thought to divide them in half. Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea.
Hi Daphyne! I’m so glad you found this tip useful! Yeah! I struggled getting them in and out of the envelope too and thought ‘there has to be a better way’. The magnetic sheets are wonderful. If the ones you purchased are a bit flimsy you can adhere them with Tear & Tape to the cardboard piece they come on. That really reinforces them well. Thanks for taking the time to stop and comment. Feedback is some important to me.
Great tip as always, Lisa!!! Busy with visiting family, but hope to reconnect when things slow down a bit around here! <3
Love this idea! I adhere my magnetic sheets to chipboard for a firmer platform. I have my plastic envelopes but currently store mine without. I put a label on the magnetic card with set name and how many there should be. For some of the sets I count multiple times during a project. Now why would I do that lol? At this moment I only have 1 small missing framelit . . . Love your videos:)
Hi Trish! I’m so glad you found the video useful. As you begin to acquire more framelits you’ll find that storing them in the envelopes keeps them protected. Shuffling them in and out of a box or basket has dislodged some of mine so the envelope really is a great organization tool. Thanks for stopping by to comment. SO glad you enjoy my videos!
Hi Dena! Thanks for the comment. Enjoy your family being around. All too soon it will be back to “normal” and missing them. HUGS
Enjoyed the video but could not find the link for the magnetic sheets. I have been buying the heavy 24″x 10′ rolls thru Amazon and cutting to size. Pricewise they are great and they are heavy enough without a backing needed.
Hi Lisa, great idea where do you get the magnetic pages from? Thankyou.
Annette, the link to the video about the magnetic sheets is actually IN the video. You’ll see a screen pop up in the center of the video at the 34 second mark that reads “Click here to view magnetic storage sheet info”. If you click those words I’ve got it linked to the video providing the information for the magnetic sheets, where to buy them, how to cut them and a picture of the packaging to make it easy for you to find them. Hope that helps. Thanks for commenting!

I’ve watched the video twice and I don’t see a link for the magnetic sheets. Can you please share the link here?
Hi Joycekk, if you’re watching it on a mobile device you would have to turn it in the landscape mode of the annotation to show up. It’s a black box in the middle of the screen that reads “click here….”. The black box is at the 33 second mark. The direct link to that magnetic sheet video: :https://youtu.be/UFItVpJ7aas Hope that helps.
