I'm enjoying creating holiday cards but I still need cards for other occasions.
Today's card features a fun gate fold and my favorite metallic color – copper!
Did you notice the punched opening on the front of this card that houses the bird cage?
The Badges & Banners stamp set coordinates with the Best Badge punch. The punch not only eliminates fussy cutting but it also created the opening in this card revealing the bird cage image inside.
I created a belly band measuring 1" x 10" to wrap around the gate fold, sealing the card shut. I used the Falling Flowers stamp set for the swirls on the band and the inside greeting. All the images were heat embossed using Copper Embossing Powder.
The Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim finishes off the elegant look to this card.
