We knew this day would come. We just didn't know when.
Boo has gotten a full time job and her stamping time is very limited. She's still a huge fan of Paper Pumpkin but the time involved to design numerous projects, filming, editing, photographing, etc. is no longer something she can fit into her schedule. She's been dedicated to Paper Pumpkin with Boo videos for over a year.
Boo always has a camera in her hand, and for good reason. She is the production director at a local church. She's utilizing her degree in film production and we are thrilled at the opportunities afforded to her. Any parent would agree, when their child graduates college, you hope and pray that they find a job in the career field. Boo has. She loves her job! She loves the people she works with and she's incredibly good at it! Her hours, however, are long and erratic.
Although Boo's Paper Pumpkin videos have come to an end, my Paper Pumpkin Parade will continue. My Paper Pumpkin subscribers enjoy a project tutorial filled with 7 alternate project ideas that are emailed to them every month. It's my way of saying thank you for their subscription and a way to provide them with additional inspiration.
I will miss watching Boo create. I will miss filming with her. We have lots of fun together and I hope that was transparent in our videos. As her mom, I'm excited to see God working in her life. It's exciting to watch her spread her wings and learning about adulthood, full time work, paying her own bills and saving to move into her own apartment.
I know you will miss her videos and please know she will miss doing them for you. Thank you to all of you who have followed her faithfully and encouraged her. We are both so very grateful!

Best of luck to you, Boo! I will surely miss you:)
Thank you, Julie. We appreciate the sweet words of encouragement!
How wonderful she can sprout her wings and fly. I know she will be a success at her job. God bless her. I have loved all the videos she made and showed her talent. Maybe in the future she can become more active in SU. She is a natural. I know you as her mom are so proud of her. That’s what we want when our children graduate from college.
Doris, your message is so treasured. Thank you for the kind, supportive words. Yes, Bob the Builder and I are very proud of her. She’s an amazing young woman. She ha NEVER given us a stitch of problem. She’s a godly, focused woman and a hard worker. She’s going to miss doing the Paper Pumpkin with Boo videos. We did talk about ‘maybe in the future’. Thank you for your comment. It’s brought a smile to her face!
How wonderful for Boo but a great loss for us. Wishing this sweet young lady all the best. She certainly has a wonderful future ahead and the support of two loving parents. God is good.
God is very good, Loretta! Thanks for your support and love. We are very proud of Boo.
Best of luck in ALL of your adventures. Life is wonderful and you have a lot of life ahead. We in the Arts and Crafts will miss your smiling face and creative ideas that you past along to us. God has a plan for you and it seems you are letting HIM lead.
Boo read this after dinner and asked that I express her thanks for your kind and encouraging words. God definitely has a plan for her! 😀
I will miss Boo making her videos of Paper Pumpkin. I really did enjoy her alternative ways to make the kit each month. But it is time for her to move on and work at something that she loves to do and using her college education. We could all see that you and her had a special relationship and will miss each other. Good Luck Boo and enjoy your new adventures. You will be greatly missed.
Aw, Cheri, you almost made me cry! We are so grateful for all those that followed Boo on her journey with Paper Pumpkin. She is very creative and it showed in her projects. But, as a parent, it’s important to me that she’s been able to move into a full time position doing what she loves. Thank you for the kind, loving words. I will pass this message on to her this evening.
