In September I celebrated 18 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. To say that these 18 years have been fabulous would be an understatement. Somehow it keeps getting better!
Last Thursday I flew to Atlanta to take part in Stampin' Up!'s On Stage event. These events are centered around unveiling the new upcoming catalogs, training, stamping, gifts, prizes and recognition.
Anita, my team member, lives outside of Atlanta. There's 460 miles between us and I was super excited that she agreed to meet us for dinner. Coincidentally, Anita had won a prize through my team stamping challenge and I was thrilled that I got to deliver her new stamps and framelits in person! Anita is pictured at the bottom left, Lynn at the bottom right, Susan is to my right. The relationships I've made through Stampin' Up! are the BEST part of what I do!
Friday was spent with my amazing friend and my fellow Creativate Team member, Brandy Cox. Brandy organized a fabulous all day training event for her team and included me and my team. She had asked me to present at her event and I enjoyed stamping and providing tips on holding events. Working with Brandy, and the other Creativate Team members, has been a huge blessing. You can read about the Creativate Team HERE.
Our fun, full day hasn't ended yet. Brandy and I headed to Stampin' Up!'s recognition event called "Centre Stage". We enjoyed a delicious dinner, generous gifts and leadership training. If you know me, the only part of dinner that matters is dessert. The chocolate mousse was amazing!
Those attending Centre Stage received a special bag. This is a horrible picture, because I was so excited to receive it, but you can see that it's been embroidered with Stampin' Up!'s name. If the bag wasn't special enough, it included the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs! Ohhhhhh, you're going to LOVE them! Stampin' Up! has very strict guidelines about sharing these publications early so I can't show you – yet.
Saturday's On Stage event was sold out! Among the friends, stamping and training there were numerous prize patrols. Do you think Kim's excited? ((smile)) Who's not happy with free stamps, right?!
On Stage winds down with recognition. I was recognized in several categories for having earned the incentive trip (Thailand here we come!), leadership, team recruiting and sales.
But the biggest SHOCK of the evening came when the top 100 demonstrators from around the world were announced. There are over 50,000 demonstrators worldwide and somehow #39 had my name on it!
The box included a personalized charm and the gift tag was signed by both Sara and Shelli.
I would have never earned this distinct and humbling honor without the support of my family, my amazing customers and my Hawaii Ink team. I'm still pinching myself!
This picture represents the top 100 global demonstrators from the Atlanta On Stage location. I've looked at this picture a dozen times and literally have to stare at it. HOW did I get to this awesome place?
Grace. Lots and lots of God's amazing grace!
Thank you for being a part of my Stampin' Up! story. I'm so grateful for each and every one of you!

Congratulations, Lisa! How amazing it must be that you placed 39 out of 100 Globally top SU demonstrators! You really deserve it! 🙂
Congrats, Lisa! Your hard work is paying off and you certainly deserve this award. Being #37 is something to be very proud of. I enjoy your blog very much with your clever, creative mind always at work bringing us ideas and tips to make our cardmaking easier, better and more fun. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you, Lynn and HJ! I’m not certain I’m ‘deserving’ but I’m certainly humbled and honored. It’s because of amazing people like YOU that I’ve been able to continue to stamp, share and achieve. So, thank you!!!
Hi Lisa!! Congratulations….What an honor….I can imagine all the work it takes to get where you are. I enjoy watching your tutorials and checking my email each day to see your latest work…..Then I go to my special room and make my own versions, not copies. Thank you, Lisa.
