Fancy folds are cards that have an unusual opening. If you search Pinterest or Google you'll find lots of ideas.
Then there are fancy cuts. ((Yes, I made that name up!))
Fancy cuts are card created with an unusual cardstock angle. It opens like any other card, but visually, it's very different.
I held a live Facebook event this past Sunday. During my "Spotlight with Lisa" event I featured a fancy cut. I'm calling it the "Separate V-Cut Card".
I recorded the live event and have included it below. I've also included pictures of the cards and basic cutting dimensions. Since this is an unusual cut I recommend viewing the video before making your own.

Cutting Dimensions
Top piece
Cut cardstock: 4" x 4".
Left side, measure at 1 1/2" and make a mark with a pencil.
Bottom center, measure at 1 3/4", mark with a pencil.
Right side, measure at 2 1/4", mark with a pencil.
Cut by connecting the marks.
Bottom piece
Cut cardstock: 3" x 4"
