I'm your typical A-type personality. I like everything to have a place.
In my 18+ years as a demonstrator I've had numerous stamping 'spaces'. In 2001 we moved to our current home and I finally had a room all to myself. Then, I worked off two 6' long tables and I was in heaven.
Then my artillery grew. I had more stamps, cardstock and tools. I needed to get more organized. The room evolved and Bob the Builder installed cabinets. Then he installed wire shelving, the kind used to organize a pantry. It worked – for a while.
That's when I had a brilliant idea of new shelving. God bless my hubby. He spent an entire weekend, drawing, measuring, planning and shopping. Then another weekend of installing. The result is a fabulous, warm, inviting room.

I get asked about organization all the time. I have an entire series of videos called "Storage Wars". They're a few years old but I still organize the same way. You can view them on my YouTube channel. Click HERE to access my YouTube channel.
Today's organization tip is about labeling your ink pads.
You might notice, too, that my ink pads are numbered. See the number 16 on the right side of the pad?
I store mine in the Stampin' Up! Color Caddy in alphabetical order. The In Colors are separate since they change every two years. Once they are alphabetized I number them. This makes putting them away in their correct space easy – especially when I'm stamping with friends.
I told you I was an A-type personality! ((smile))

Hi Sharon! Thank you for the sweet words about my stamp room. Bob the Builder is amazing! I’m very blessed. Glad, too, that you found the tip about the labeling helpful. Thanks for coming by!
Someone suggested selecting the words in the other languages that you would recognize and put the “words” where you put the colored pieces. I think I like your idea better:)
Hi Trish! 😀 I’m so glad you found this helpful. Thanks for watching and stopping by to comment. Have a great weekend!
