I love intricate dies and you've told me you love them, too.

But, I've also heard that you're still frustrated with getting the die to release from the cardstock after you've die cut them.

In December I created this card.

The first few times I used this die I was frustrated. Most of the areas easily came loose from the die but there were a few areas that were real sticklers.  I began to gently pry the cardstock out of the die. You know what happened, right? Yep, I ripped it.

In years past, I had used wax paper between the cardstock and the die.  Although it helped, it often left the wax paper embedded into the die.  But, hey, I was desperate.  Off to the kitchen I went.

I rummaged for the wax paper and stumbled upon parchment paper.  I thought 'why not', let's give this a try!  (Insert a hallelujah because this idea has become a game changer!)

This worked so well that I had to share this revelation in a quick tip video.

If you're having difficulty, too, head to your kitchen pantry.  The solution will be found in a $2 roll of parchment paper!
