The average food truck brings in $290,000 a year in revenue. The average food truck meal is $12.40 and 55% of their business come from street/corner locations.

The average cost to convert and set up a food truck is $85,000. That doesn't include the necessary additional expenses like pots, pans, paper products, licensing and permits. That racks up another $5,000. That's more than a year's salary for most of us!

I've only eaten from two food trucks and both were in Hawaii. The food was AMAZING! Sitting outside at a picnic table, with a delicious meal served on a paper plate - yes please…hello food trucks!
