Horizontal line for blog

How many times have you looked at an outline image stamp and thought "no way am I coloring all that in"?!

We're drawn to the artistic details and we love the images but the thought of coloring in the entire image is daunting to some of you.

The spotlight technique is a beloved, and old favorite that eliminates the need to color in the entire image.  My card today spotlights on a vertical angle and colors a good portion of the center of the card.  Too much for you?  Think smaller.

Punch out a focal point of the image you like best and color in just that part.  Line it up directly over the initial image, like I've done here and you'll have yourself a gorgeous card, completed in minutes.

I've include pictures and a tutorial for today's card below.  For those of you that wish to save this idea for future inspiration, I've included a PDF tutorial download as well.

Happy Friday everyone!

I entered this card in the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Hint of Pink
