The new catalog debuts on June 1st and it's loaded with new stamp sets, designer papers, embellishments, dies and embossing folders!
Among the new embossing folders there are new deep impression or "dynamic" embossing folders. These folders are much thicker than the typical folder and provide a deep embedded impression on your cardstock. And, I love them!
A few weeks ago I was designing a card using vellum cardstock. I chose to emboss the vellum using the Cable Knit embossing folder. Although the vellum looked fine after it was embossed, as I handled it, and applied adhesive, I noticed that areas of the embossed impression were ripping.
It was obvious that the vellum was too fragile to handle the deep impressions so I needed a solution. That solution is the focus of today's quick tip video.

Great tip, Lisa. I need to think of using vellum more and now you’ve inspired me to do so. Getting the cuts to appear would be very frustrating, now I have a solution. Have a great day!
