I'm sitting here typing this blog post realizing that today is the last Monday of June! How could that be?
All month I've been using new catalog products. To say I'm having fun would be an understatment!
Pairing new stamp sets with 'old' stamp sets always proves inspiring. Today's card is a perfect example of that.
I am using the Stylized Birthday stamp with the new Label Me Pretty set. I've used lots of bright colors recently so I thought it would be a nice change to focus on a subtle color.
The new Pretty Label Punch is a winner. If you don't already own it, I highly recommend placing it on your wish list. Not only does it coordinate with the Label Me Pretty stamp set but I've found it fits lots of other images and greetings.
I've also included pictures and cutting dimensions for today's card below.
If you haven't looked at my Project PDF Tutorial library go take a peek. Among many others, there is a tutorial using this Stylized Birthday stamp to create 4 different cards. You can find pictures and the tutorial HERE.
Cutting Dimensions
- Whisper White cardstock base is cut 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2"
- Remember to stamp first, then punch. You'll have perfect alignment every time!

Beautiful card, Lisa. I love how you used the doily. I need to use them more for the softening touch they add to a card. Isn’t it amazing that half a year is gone. As they say “time flies when you’re having fun” and I say “if it’s not fun, why do it?” Have a great day!
Good morning, HJ! It is amazing that June is nearly over. And, I’m definitely having fun! 😀 Yesterday I heard on the radio that we were just 6 months from Christmas. Oh, wow…not sure I’m quite ready to be thinking Christmas cards but the Stampin’ Up! holiday catalog will be out soon. So glad you liked my card. Thanks for stopping by, as always!
