I've never seen a skinny pig so I'd say 'round' is probably a good way to describe them.
Because of their round stature I thought a round stitched shape was fitting.
I began with a piece of Color Theory designer paper and cut it 1/8" narrower than I would need. This allowed me space to add a strip of the Pick a Pattern Washi Tape.
If you haven't given our newest selection of Washi Tape a look, head over to page 195. The 4 color groups each contain 5 different rolls with fun patterns and varying widths. I'm a big fan!
I used watercolor paper for the stitched circle and stamped the image using Basic Black ink. I'll call this 'messy watercoloring' because I started with one layer of Powder Pink ink then added a little Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake. I wasn't at all worried about where the color ended up. I have never seen a shiny clean pig, have you? ((smile))
The Oh My Stars embossing folder enhances the ombre designer paper nicely!
