When I saw the Tranquil Tulips stamp set (page 223) I fell in love with the texture of the stamps and the two-step stamp images.
Two-step stamping provides two images that are similar in appearance. One is more solid than the other, lending it to be used as the 'base' of the image. The other stamp has a detailed design, intended to be stamped on top of the solid image. If you look closely at the tulips in my card, you will see that the tulips appear to have two different shades of color. It was easily achieved with two set stamping.
The same two-step process works for the leaves in my card as well. This two step stamping creates beautiful, detailed images making your cards look realistic.
I used the Brick Wall embossing folder and stamped a few of the small leaves to form a vine.
The Scalloped Tag Topper Punch created the perfect tag holding the Burlap Ribbon, cinched with Gold Metallic Thread.
Don't forget the sparkle! I used the Metallic Enamel Shapes to add a little pizzazz to the card base which brings attention to the Gold Metallic Thread.
