What Makes You Ridiculously Happy?

New stamps, designer papers, embellishments, embossing folders and dies will keep you scanning the pages of the new catalog for hours. Although that may seem overwhelming to some, it makes me ridiculously happy! ((smile))

Among the new products is the stamp set, Lovely Friends. There are several large greetings, an array of sentiments for the inside of your cards and several images. This stamp set coordinates with the Lovely Laurel Thinlits (page 214) which will die cut the flower and the frame included in the set.

I've included written instructions below for those of you using a mobile device. I also have a free PDF tutorial available for those that would like to download and save this project for a later day.

Supplies:

Stamps – Lovely Friends (143763), Diagonal Strip (141917 clear, 141914 wood)
Paper – Whisper White (100730), Basic Black (121045), Bermuda Bay (131197)
Ink – Tuxedo Black Memento (132708), Bermuda Bay (131171), Pool Party (126982)
Other – Banner Triple Punch (138292), Liquid Multipurpose Glue (110755), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220)

Measurements:

Basic Black (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folded in half
Basic Black (layer): 3 1/8” x 4”
Basic Black (banner): ½” x 2”
Whisper White (layer): 4” x 5 ¼”
Whisper White (greeting layer): 3” x 4”
Bermuda Bay (banner): 1” x 1 ½”

Instructions:

Stamp the Diagonal Stripe background stamp on the Whisper White layer using Bermuda Bay ink. Adhere it to the Basic Black card base.
Stamp the greeting using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Whisper White greeting layer. Stamp the solid flower image, one in each opposite corner of this layering using Pool Party ink. Stamp the detailed flower image over the top of the original flowers using Bermuda Bay ink. Adhere the Basic Black layer. Add rhinestones to the center of each flower.
Using the Banner Triple Punch, punch the end of the Bermuda Bay and the Basic Black banner cardstock pieces. Adhere the Bermuda Bay banner to the Basic Black banner. Adhere the banners to the bottom of the greeting layer as shown. Add 3 rhinestones to the banner as shown.
