Designing isn't always easy. Often times I see a card in my head and then attempt to create it. Many times my efforts are in vain.
But every once in a while what I envision actually comes to pass. Today is a perfect example of that.
I've seen split front types of cards before. I don't know what the official name is but they looked complicated, especially when you don't have directions. I was determined to figure it out and it took me longer than I'd like to admit but here it is! I'm hopeful that today's video tutorial will make it easy for you to create one of your own.
I've included cutting dimensions, pictures and supplies below.
Don't forget, July is Bonus Days! For every $50 in product you will receive a $5 Bonus Days coupon to use on an August order.
Or, purchase a custom starter kit and enjoy $72 in freebies! Get the details on the custom kit by clicking HERE or on the image below.
I entered this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday "Summer Sunshine" Challenge

Directions really helps. You are not too far away. I’m in Bradenton, stay healthy and happy during this uncertain time. Johanna
Hi Johanna! Thanks for watching. I’m so glad you are enjoying what I share. Whenever we start something new, we are hard on ourselves and expect perfection. Please give yourself a little grace. Time and practice help, too. Yes, we are nearly neighbors! Stay well!
Hi Lisa, I have just started watching your videos, and I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful cards you make. Your tutorials are so easy to follow! Please keep safe and I will definitely be watching your other videos too. Karen
Hi Karen! I’m so glad that you’re finding what I share helpful and inspiring. I don’t know about you, but I’m making more and more cards than ever. Hi Lisa,

Hi Audrey! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. Thrilled you enjoyed the card and were inspired to make one yourself.
Hi Lisa, whenever I see your name I know it’s going to be a lovely card, like your diagonal split card. I know the size of the cardstock for the diagonal is 4 and a quarter x 5 and a half inches, but what size do you cut the diagonal shape please? Cheers and thankyou, Marilyn.
Marilyn thanks so much for viewing this video!! Here is a link for the measurements. Scroll down under the pictures:
