You Dazzle Me - Pocket Full of Sunshine Tutorial

Ordering begins on Sunday for July's edition of Studio Stamps in the Mail.

Sunglasses are a summertime necessity and today's tutorial has sunglasses covered, and bling, too!

I've included written instructions below for those of you using a mobile device. I also have a free PDF tutorial available for those that would like to download and save this project for a later day.

Supplies:

Stamp Set –Pocket Full of Sunshine (143719)
Cardstock –Thick Whisper White (140272); Crushed Curry (131199); Dapper Denim (141414)
Ink – Dapper Denim (141394); Memento (132708); VersaMark (102283)
Other – Big Shot (143263) Pocket Framelits (143750); Embossing Buddy (103083); Heat Tool (129053); Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (109131); Stamping Sponges (141337); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:

Thick Whisper White (base): 4-1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5-1/2"
Thick Whisper White (tab): 1” x 1”
Crushed Curry (layer): 3-1/4" x 5
Crushed Curry: scrap for sunglasses
Dapper Denim (layer): 3" x 4-3/4"
Dapper Denim: 3-1/2" x 3" for pocket

Instructions:

Stamp the pocket and the pocket center stitching on the 3 ½” x 3” piece of Dapper Denim cardstock using Dapper Denim ink. Die cut using the coordinating framelit.
Sponge the edges and surface of the pocket and the Dapper Denim layer using Dapper Denim ink.
Rub the Embossing Buddy over the pocket. Stamp the greeting using VersaMark ink. Sprinkle with silver embossing powder. Gently tap off excess powder around the image. Heat set using the Heat Tool.
Stamp “for you” using Dapper Denim ink on a white cardstock tab. Tuck and adhere it under the left side of the pocket.
Add rhinestones above the pocket stitching as shown.
Fold the Thick Whisper White cardstock in half for the card base.
Adhere the Dapper Denim layer to the Crushed Curry layer. Adhere these layers to the card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere the pocket to the card layers using Dimensionals.
Stamp the sunglasses using Memento ink on Crushed Curry scrap cardstock. Die cut the sunglasses using the coordinating framelit.
Add a rhinestone to each side of the sunglasses as shown.
Tuck one side of the sunglasses behind the pack. Adhere the sunglasses to the pocket using Dimensionals.
