I hear it all the time, “why isn’t there a punch or die for this image?”. We’ve gotten lazy as paper crafters, haven’t we? But today I’ve great news for you!
The Half Full stamp set, featured on page 42 of the Holiday Catalog, is loaded with fun greetings and images. Among them is a tag. When I first saw the tag all I could think of was “why isn’t there a punch or die for this image?”. ((smiles)) With a little experimenting I found that the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch fits this tag perfectly! I don’t know why the tag wasn’t wasn’t listed in the catalog as being a coordinating product, but it is such a great tip that I didn’t want to miss sharing it with you.
Today’s quick tip video will show you how the punch works perfectly with this image – but don’t stop there! This punch is perfect for any tag. The scalloped top makes it elegant enough for your handmade cards yet simple enough for your holiday gift tags. And if you’re wondering about the sneak peek picture below, it’s coming! It will be featured in an upcoming video in the next few weeks.

Congratulations on 19 years! WOW! What an accomplishment!!!
I live at the beach at the Jersey shore… and I love being near the water… but lately it’s been scary with all these natural hurricanes and stuff! I do not work as I am disabled. I have been disabled since 2009 but prior to that, I was an auditor for a large cardiology office. 🙂
Yes I was crafting 19 years ago! My crafting endeavors started literally when I was a teenager! I have always had a love for paper! I lived across the street from an actual paper factory that would manufacture and cut down paper (mainly cardstock) of all colors and sizes. I used to stand outside their open warehouse door several times a week after school just to listen to the machines and sneaking peeks at the papers. To my surprise, the owner had been catching me standing there a lot of the times without me knowing it and one day approached me and asked me why I would stand there and just watch? I replied, “I love paper”… so he told me to hang tight and he’ll be right back. He came back with a medium sized box full of all different paper sizes and colors and told me, “It’s yours kid”… but you have to come back and show me what you make with it!” And I sure did!! I made all sorts of cards and envelopes with it and at that time, I was probably about 13 or 14. Ever since then, it’s been addiction lol. And I actually found your blog through a google search. I typed in Stampin’ Up and your blog came up! So glad it did!! I love your blog and videos!! Keep up the hard work Lisa!
Hugs,
Jo in Jersey!

19 years ago:
We were full-time RVers from CO…..made our home where ever the weather was good! Have given up the 5th wheel & truck for a townhome in MN to be near family.
We were both retired & living “off the grid” in a log home in the mountains of CO.
I have always been a crafter but mainly thru sewing. Also cross stitch. Found the great enjoyment of paper crafting & SU at a class at a RV Park in AZ about 17 years ago.
