Let’s kick this holiday catalog off with an easy project tutorial. This treat holder can double as a gift card holder or it’s perfect as a party favor. For co-workers to classroom favors you can create a bunch of these in now time.
I’ve included written instructions below for those of you using a mobile device. I also have a free PDF tutorial available for those that would like to download and save this project for a later day.

Supplies:
- Paper – Pumpkin Pie (105117); Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (144610)
- Other – Cat Punch (144666); Vintage Crochet Trim (144611); Dimensionals (104430); Glue Dots (103683); Stapler
Measurements:
- Pumpkin Pie: 2 ¾” x 8 /12”, score at 5/8”, 4 3/8” and 4 7/8”
- Designer Paper (stripe pattern): 2” x 7”
- Designer Paper (cat pattern)
- Crochet Trim: 12”
Instructions:
- Fold the Pumpkin Pie cardstock into a matchbook shape. Staple the flap close to folded edge, allowing enough room for the flap to be tucked inside.
- Wrap trim around the lower flap and tie it in a knot.
- Use a single Glue Dot to adhere the Ghirardelli chocolate candy inside. NOTE: This matchbook holder will also hold a gift card.
- Wrap the designer paper strip around the holder as shown to create a bellyband. Adhere the raw ends together leaving enough room so that it can slide on and off the holder.
- Punch one black cat from the designer paper. Adhere the cat to the front of the bellyband using Dimensionals.
