When I think of fall I think of straw, burlap, raffia, pumpkins and sunflowers. The air is crisp and it smells differently, doesn’t it?
Although it’s still hot and humid here in Florida, Bob the Builder and I just returned yesterday from a few days in Cincinnati, Ohio for my cousin’s wedding. We chose to extend our visit to enjoy the cooler temperatures. And it was colder than I bargained for! We had high temperatures on Friday and Saturday in the mid 50’s and it rained both days. Although some of you are enjoying cooler temperatures, those of us here in Florida are keeping a watchful eye on Hurricane Irma.

The Holiday Catalog debuted on Friday, September 1st and among the 55 wonderful pages you’ll find this stamp set, “Painted Harvest”. There’s also a coordinating Leaf Punch making this a fabulous Bundle. In fact, it’s so great that I’ve decided to use it for September’s Studio Stamps in the Mail.
Studio Stamps in the Mail (SSITM) ordering begins on Sunday, September 10th – September 17th. You can find all the details about the cards and products included by clicking HERE.

I used the Burlap Background stamp with VersaMark ink to create the subtle background.
The sunflowers are a two-step stamp, meaning there are two similar images that layer one on top of the other for a 3D look. Aren’t they pretty?
The Leaf Punch eliminates all the fussy cutting and adds the perfect touch to these blooms.

And you know I couldn’t help myself! I had to add some bling. Gold Metallic Thread and Gold Enamel Dots were added to enhance the rich tones of these sunflowers.
Go take a quick peek at September’s Studio Stamps in the Mail cards and details. You won’t want to miss out owning the Painted Harvest stamp set and Leaf Punch – both included in this month’s SSITM edition.
