A simple ombre border is easy to create with the Color Theory Designer Paper Stack. This 48 sheet pack includes 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. There are four different colors included in the designs; Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim and Old Olive.
The patterns are varied in the stack providing you lots of flexibility. I chose the paint chip ombre piece and coordinated these tulip blooms to match.
This card uses only 3 colors of ink; Berry Burst, Pear Pizzaz and Memento Black. Although it looks as if there are three different colors of flowers, I only used one ink pad. You can easily create varying shades by “stamping off” a layer or two of ink on scratch paper. I’ve got a quick tip video to show you how. Click HERE to view it.

Thank you, Marie! I’m so glad you caught that typo! Yes, October 10th is the correct date. I’ve made the correction. Thank you bunches!
Beautiful card Lisa! Love tulips!

I love tulips, too! Thanks for coming by today, Jo. I’m so glad you like the card.
Tranquil Tulip card is lovely! Is the measurement on the Whisper White layer correct? Should be 4 x 5 1/4?
Love following your work. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Judith! Yes, you are absolutely right. That measurement was a typo. Thank you for having my back. I’ve corrected it. This is my second typo in this blog post today! ((slapping forehead in disgust)) I apparently need a nap! 😀 Thank you for the sweet words about the card, too.
Hi, just wanted to say I love your Tulip card. The sentiment is lovely and I’m sure if you were to receive such a card it would make you feel very special.
Thank you, Kay! I’m so glad you stopped by to take a look today!
