I’ve got a tip today that will broaden your creativity! Have you tried using your framelit dies as stencils? All you’ll need is a fine tip Sharpie marker or the Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker and an open die.
Take a look at some of your framelits. Do you have balloons, hearts, stars, circles or ovals? Those dies are perfect candidates for this technique. Images can be overlapped or used individually. I have samples for both in today’s quick tip video. I’ve includes photographs and supplies below so don’t forget to scroll down to take a peek.

Hi Lisa,
I watched your video on using a framelit as stencils, what a great tip and video. My question is what do you use to clean off the framelit?
Thank You,
Mary
Hi Mary! Thanks for watching. I didn’t clean off the stencil. Since the tip of the marker is very fine and I’m using it with the cutting edge up, there was no residual ink to worry about. However, if you have a concern that you may have ‘missed’ while tracing you can use a cotton ball and a little rubbing alcohol to remove any leftover marks.
Very creative, Lisa! Love them. 🙂
Thank you, Annette! I appreciate you stopping by to watch and for taking the time to leave me a comment.
Endless possibilities! Great idea! Thanks, Lisa!
Thank you, Bonnie!
