In just two more days (November 1st!) a new coloring medium will be added to the Stampin’ Up! product line. The new alcohol-based markers, called Stampin’ Blends, will not only have you coloring, shading and highlighting like a pro, but they are affordable and easy to use. Not sure how alcohol markers work? I’ve got ya’ covered. Be sure you’re subscribed to my blog so you don’t miss any of my upcoming posts and videos!
If you missed my first video on the Stampin’ Blends basics you can find it HERE.
Did you know that you can use Smoky Slate with Rich Razzleberry to create beautiful shading? How about using Daffodil Delight and Olive Olive to create an additional color? Today’s video will show you how to create multiple different shades using markers that aren’t in the same color group. I’ve included pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies for today’s card below.
The Stampin’ Blends are double-sided allowing you to choose the brush or fine-point tip. Each color (except Ivory and Bronze) has a light and dark shade and are available individually or as a combo pack. The separate Color Lifter will allow you to reduce ink coverage to create even deeper shading.
Whisper White cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.
Pear Pizzazz cardstock layer is cut 4″ x5 1/4″.
Thick Whisper White cardstock for the image is cut 3″ x 4″.
Rich Razzleberry cardstock layer is cut 3 1/4 x 4 3/4″.
I used 16″ of Whisper White Sheer Ribbon to wrap and tie the bow.
