If you’re a paper crafter then you know mistakes are going to happen. Layers are accidentally adhered crooked, what you thought was going to look good in the center looks better on the side. And the list goes on. Mistakes are part of the design process.
In today’s quick tip video I’ll share an easy remedy for removing adhesive from pieces of cardstock so they can be reused. A regular ole’ pink eraser not only erases pencil mistakes but it also erases adhesive! You can find these erasers where school supplies are sold. They’re inexpensive – often times under $2. That’s a small investment for saved cardstock!
During the video you’ll see a card that I use to showcase this tip. If your’e interested, I’ve included the finished card below, along with cutting dimensions.
Cutting Dimensions
- Whisper White cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- Fresh Florals Designer Paper (flower pattern) is cut 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Fresh Florals Designer Paper (fan pattern) is cut 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Silver Foil strip is cut 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- A Delicate White Doily is cut in half. The center is cut away and the lacy edge is scrunched to create the border under the greeting.
