Here Comes Santa Paws! That title makes me break out into song. ((smile)) This stamp set will appeal to the dog and cat lovers and to anyone else that enjoys a chuckle. The adorable play on words and silly images in this stamp set will create Christmas cards to brighten up the mailbox of friends and family.
I used the Be Merry Designer Paper and cut it on an angle allowing enough space to stamp the poodle image.
Since most poodles are white (and certainly a Santa Paws is!) but the image needed a bit of color. I used my Aqua Painter and the Smoky Slate ink pad to give a little highlighting to the body. I used Blushing Bride ink to highlight the legs. Once it was dry, I added Clear Wink of Stella. The shimmer gives this image just the right touch. And, of course, like all shimmer, it’s difficult to capture in a photograph.
I added a double row of ribbon to the top of the card and finished with a simple loop.
I wanted the greeting to be reminiscent of this fun card so I opted to stamp them on scrap cardstock, cut them out and mount them with Mini Dimensionals.
Can you believe we are just 13 days away from Christmas?!
