Providing encouragement is an important aspect in our lives. Often times we need to provide the encouragement and sometimes you need to receive it. There are times a friend will need a pep talk and to let them know we are praying for them. During the past four weeks I have been overwhelmed with encouragement through your many cards, emails, Facebook messages and calls. Each of those means of encouragement have been a huge blessing. Thank you!
The greeting on today’s card will provide the perfect encouragement. It’s from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set which is also offered as a bundle with coordinating framelits (item #145342). The polka dot background is actually designer paper from the “Whole Lot of Lovely” series.
I used the Layering Ovals Framelits to create numerous layers of texture in both Powder Pink cardstock and Silver Foil. The vellum wrap provides the perfect opaque layer to showcase the coordinating woven ribbon.
And who can miss an opportunity to add a little extra shimmer? Certainly not me! The Silver Metallic Thread was generously added to the back of the Powder Pink scalloped oval for that perfect feminine touch!
Who needs your encouragement today? Create them a hand stamped card. Add a stamp and put it in the mail. A small gesture of encouragement goes a long way. I know first-hand!
