It’s week six for the Santa’s Little Elves Design Team! I’m honored to have been asked to join the this group of designers to bring you amazing projects every Friday between November 3rd and December 15th. Each of the elves has contributed one project during the seven weeks that will include step-by-step instructions, color photos and a complete list of supplies. This design team is all about bringing you fabulous gift ideas with a wide variety of styles and expertise. Each elf has designed their project with the intent of making it easy for you to duplicate.

I’ve included written instructions below for those of you using a mobile device. I also have a free PDF tutorial available for those that would like to download and save this project for a later day.
Don’t forget to check out my Project PDF Tutorial Library for more project tutorials that feature complete card collections and fancy folds. Click HERE to view the library. All the supplies can be purchased in my online store. I provide generous ordering REWARDS, too! Details on my REWARDS program can be found HERE.

Cutting & Scoring:
- Elegant Eggplant – 5 ½” x 8 ½”
- Champagne Scraps
- Very Vanilla Scraps
- Silver Metallic Thread – 20”
- Natural Silver Trim – 8”
Instructions:
- Die cut the stocking and pillow box pieces using the Elegant Eggplant cardstock, aligning them carefully so they both fit. Stamp the stocking with Marbled Background stamp using Elegant Eggplant ink.
- Die cut the swag, cuff, heel and toe pieces from Champagne Foil Sheets. Die cut the holly leaves from scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. Die cut a berry from the remainder Elegant Eggplant cardstock. Adhere the cuff, toe and heel to stocking.
- Assemble the stocking into pillow box. Adhered the rectangular tab at the bottom of the pillow box to the inside. This will prevent the bottom from coming open if the stocking is hung on a Christmas tree.
- Embellish the cuff with the Silver Metallic Thread, wrapping it around 3-4 fingers. Carefully slide it off your fingers, pinching it in the center. Adhere it to the holly and berry using Glue Dots.
- Punch a 1/8” hole in the top flap of stocking and add a loop of Natural Silver Trim. Tie the end in a knot to go inside the box so it’s not visible.
Tips: Use this stocking gift cardholder, a Christmas tree ornament or as packaging for a small gift such as jewelry, money or candy.
