The #1 one thing I hear from stampers is “I don’t know how to store ________(fill in the blank)”. I’ve been doing quick tip videos for years. In fact, before they were called ‘quick tips’ I did a series called “Storage Wars”. This series covered everything from how to store your ribbon to storing cardstock. Head over to my YouTube channel HERE and search “Lisa Curcio Storage Wars” and you’ll get a huge list of short videos that share tips on helping you store and organize your supplies.
Today’s quick tip revolves around the new Stampin’ Blends. If you’ve missed my 4-part video series on how to use these amazing alcohol-based markers you can find them noted below. The markers are sold individually or in a specific color group. Or, if you’re like me and love to color, you can purchase the entire collection! The markers have a square chamber which keeps them from rolling off your stamp table – brilliant! They are thicker than the Stampin’ Write markers so storing them will take up a bit more space. I’ve found a solution that’s both economical and practical.
The full wide stamp cases will hold 14-15 markers in one case. I own all the color combinations and find that two wood mount stamp cases hold them all. The clear covers to these cases makes locating the color group I need quick and easy. The lids snap shut which ensure they’ll stay snuggled in this box until you’re ready to use them. Remember, you should store your Stampin’ Blends horizontally*** and that’s another reason these cases are perfect for storage.

***Stampin’ Blends need to be stored horizontally (lying down). The photograph below simply showcases how they fit in the closed case.
Now that stampin up doesn’t sell the wood cases what’s the way you would store blends?
Hi Janet! While Stampin’ Up! no longer sells the wood cases, I do have a similar product linked in my Craft Room Favorites. Click here: https://lisasstampstudio.com/craft-room-favorites and scroll through the items. Hope this helps.
