Once a month I get together with a few friends to spend a portion of the day stamping. We always meet at my friend, Kellie’s house. She lives on a large piece of property and during one of our stamping days we got a visit from a wild peacock who walked up to the sliding glass door adjacent to where we were sitting. I’m not sure what sparked it but within seconds he opened up his feathers displaying the most amazing array of colors I’ve ever seen! Just as amazing was this bird’s ability to prance gracefully while his plumes spread wide – all six feet of them!
There’s another peacock that’s getting a lot of attention lately and that’s the Beautiful Peacock stamp set. This set is one of the free $50 level products available during Sale-A-Bration. I’m using this stamp set in my video project today to create variegated/multi-colored plumes. The technique is both easy and experimental because no two cards will look exactly the same. I’ll provide tips to creating this technique along with additional tips on how to save yourself some frustration when making the bow. I’ve included pictures and cutting dimensions for this card along with a complete supply list below. Be sure to scroll down to see them.
Sale-A-Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s largest sale of the year and it’s coming to a quick close on March 31st. Don’t miss out on your free selection during this amazing sale. There are even free products at a $100 purchase level, too! See all the free products by clicking HERE!
