Looking at today’s card you might be asking “where’s the peacock”? That’s the beauty of the Beautiful Peacock stamp set. You can create lots more than just peacocks with it!

I used the vine and flowers included in this set to create this simple card. The background uses Brusho and it’s effortless! I’ve included written instructions below for those of you using a mobile device. I also have a free PDF tutorial available for those that would like to download and save this project for a later day.

Measurements

  • Flirty Flamingo (base) – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folded in half
  • Basic Black – 4” x 4”
  • Watercolor Paper – 3” x 3”

Directions

  1. Stamp the splatter image from the Timeless Textures stamp randomly using the Flirty Flamingo ink on the card base.
  2. Emboss the Basic Black cardstock layer using the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder. Adhere it to the upper portion of the card base as shown.
  3. Spritz the Watercolor Paper using the Stampin’ Spritzer to saturate the paper with water. Sprinkle the Brilliant Red Brusho randomly on the paper. Repeat using a small amount of Yellow Brusho. Let dry completely before proceeding to the next step.
  4. Stamp the vine image using Memento ink on the far-left side of the Watercolor Paper. Stamp the flower images, alternating between the two sizes included in the stamp set, along the vines as shown.
  5. Stamp the greeting in the upper right corner of the Watercolor Paper.
  6. Adhere two Iridescent Sequins near the vine using Fine-Tip Glue. Let dry.
