This Little Piggy stamp set (annual catalog) stole my heart the second I saw it. There are five different pig images each with an adorable expression and witty greetings to accompany them. I could not resist using this one image for a wooden pig pen.
I stamped the pig on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black Archival ink. As a reminder, when using the Archival ink pads, be sure to let them dry. This ink dries slower than the Classic Ink Pads due to the archival qualities of being fade resistant and permanent. I added the pink tones to the pig using my Aqua Painter and Powder Pink ink pad. If you’re not sure how to watercolor using your ink pads I’ve got a quick tip video HERE that will help. Since this is not watercolor paper I used care to not oversaturate the cardstock to resist pilling.
The Wood Textures Designer Paper and the Classic Label Punch were used to create the wood slats. The bottom slat is strategically placed to hide the greeting that is part of this image.
The greeting was fairly small and I didn’t want it to be lost among the clouds so I stamped it on a small piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. The pink heart comes from the Subtles Enamel Shapes. Did you notice the shimmer on the clouds? I used Clear Wink of Stella – perfect paired with those snout kisses!
