In my years of blogging I don’t ever recall doing two blog posts in one day – but today it’s necessary. Mostly because I’m excited and secondly because I want you “in the know”.
It’s been more than five years since Stampin’ Up! has refreshed its color palette and it’s coming!
Here are the current colors that will be retiring. Remember, these colors are only available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST or May 31st, whichever comes first. These retiring colors will include their coordinated products; cardstock, ribbons, designer paper and embellishments. If you already own one of these colors be sure to stock up on the ink refills and their color coordination counterparts. Click on the image below to see them in my online store.

Among the excitement are the new 2018-2020 NEW In Colors. These new colors will be accompanying the current 2017-2019 In Colors. The Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick are calling my name, although I love them all. Which one is your favorite?
There will still be four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics. There are also previous In Colors returning to join the core colors. The returning In Colors are:
Mossy Meadow
Poppy Parade
Flirty Flamingo
Coastal Cabana
Mint Macaron
Blackberry Bliss
And let me introduce to you the NEW color palette for Stampin’ Up! beginning June 1, 2018!
While some of my favorites are retiring I think back to the time before computers, cell phones and microwaves. I’m grateful for change but sometimes it’s a lot to take in. Ultimately change is good. If you’re wondering what you’ll do with your retiring colors I’ve got an easy solution. Use them! Enjoy mixing and matching them with the new Color Refresh products!
Because these colors are retiring they will sell out quickly. I’ve listed them below so you can click on them and add them to your order. Don’t wait! Did I mention they will sell out quickly?
Fresh, new colors are on the horizon and that also includes their new coordinating products. The new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog debuts on June 1st. If you’ve placed a $50 product order with me between June 1, 2017 and April 25, 2018 you will automatically receive a complimentary copy of the catalog in late May. If you’re not a current customer of mine, I’d love the opportunity to earn your business! I offer generous ordering REWARDS, too. You can find all the details by clicking HERE or on the image below.
If you have questions about the Color Refresh or retiring products please leave me a comment below. I’m happy to help!

I am wondering about changes to the Blends. In the original colors will any of them be retired? I LOVE them and I am still trying to get all of the original colors. And, it goes without saying, that I want ALL the new colors. I have some of the originals which I got before the “freeze”. I am a Copic girl but I actually like the Blends better. If only SU had made them refillable. Heavy sigh!
Hi Bobbi! Great question. The only Stampin’ Blends that is being retired is the Pink Pirouette since that is a retiring color and will not be part of the color refresh and new palette. I’ve taken several Copic coloring classes which is how I learned to use the Blends and I agree with you, the Blends are just as nice and easier to use. The Blends aren’t refillable since their price point is so much more affordable than the Copics. There’s no need to bother with refilling when you can buy a single Blends for $4.50. Refills, from my understanding, were considered but at this price point and the additional inventory required for refills, etc. was decided to make them easy and affordable to replace. Hope that information helps.
Wow what a lot of changes! A very detailed blog though Lisa so thank you from me and the other crafters who use SU inks because I think this will become very useful in a very short time and for a while afterwards as we learn the new names of the inks and which groups they belong to now. Thank you for putting this blog together for us crafters. :O)
