Take a look at page 223 of the annual catalog and you’ll find the Tranquil Tulips stamp set. This two-step stamp set includes blooms in two sizes and beautiful foliage to compliment them. Easily adaptable for any color scheme, these flowers can be coordinated to wedding and shower themes and can easily be used for any occasion. The stamp sets featured on pages 220-223 are exclusively for those that place a $150+ product order (before tax and shipping). Stampin’ Rewards dollars can be used to redeem these stamp sets which are only available during the annual catalog sales period – which, by the way, will end on May 31st. There’s lots of hidden gems inside these pages so don’t overlook them on when you place your next sizable order.
The curved petals of the tulip gave me an idea to create a curved edge on the Fresh Florals Designer Paper. I used a pencil and drew a random curve and then used my scissors to cut it out.
The Old Olive Mini Chevron ribbon is a solid, pliable ribbon. I cut a 5″ piece for the front of the card, adhering the raw ends to the backside using Glue Dots. Another 5″ piece was used to tuck under the long strand and tied in a single knot. Cutting two pieces of ribbon and adhering them in this fashion, versus going around the entire card base, will save you about 5″ of ribbon on every card you create. A great money-saving tip!
Two-step stamping means there are two similar images that are intended to be stamped on one top of one another for a 3D look. Here I chose to stamp the second image on scrap white cardstock, cut it out and mounted it using Dimensionals. The linen look to this image is purposeful and so unique!
You’ll find two more host exclusive stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog on page 54. The two stamp sets featured there are available with Stampin’ Rewards dollars through May 31st as well.

SUPERBE
So glad you like it, Bernath! Thanks for coming by to take a peek!
Love today’s card. Page # should be 223. TFS.
Thank you for having my back, Barbara! It was a typo and I’m so glad you caught it. I’ve corrected the text on my blog so others aren’t confused! Thanks, too for stopping by to take a look.
That is so pretty, Lisa. I love the curve you drew and the way you set off the image with the ribbon. When I look at your PP ad, I think of Boo. How is she doing?
Hi Karen! I’m so glad you enjoyed the card. Boo is doing wonderfully. We found out two weeks ago that her blood clot is gone! We are so grateful! She will remain on blood thinners for another 6 months as a precaution due to my history of blood clotting and mutations. But I’m confident she will be fine! She’s gotten a new job and is excelling. She’s moving into her own place mid-May, too! 😀 Thanks for asking about her.
Beautiful card with a great layout. I especially love the sentiment, it fits your card so well! What set is this sentiment from? Thank you for sharing!
Hi Marilyn! I’m glad you enjoyed the card. The sentiment, unfortunately is retired. It was from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit. For some reason, I totally missed that this kit/set were retired with the June 2016 catalog. Thanks for your comment because I’m sure others have wondered as well.
A beautiful card created by a fabulous stamp set that I wish was available to purchase rather than being a Hostess Gift. I love the curved edge on the DSP you have created and the TOP TIP about the ribbon is outstanding! I can’t believe how much savings will happen every time a ribbon is used. Thank you Lisa for sharing this with us crafters. :O)
I’m so glad you liked the card. I simply drew the curve on the designer paper using a pencil and cut it out using my scissors. It’s very easy to do so no template was required. Thanks again for coming by!
Commentaar bedankt voor uw reactie.. Ik ga het eens proberen, wat is uw maat van de whisper white papier.
Hi! I replied to your comment about the size a few days ago when you initially asked. I’m sorry if you missed that reply. The Whisper White cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ to fit in a U.S. medium size white envelope.
Als nog de beste wensen en een gezond en creatief 2019 gewenst. Sorry die heb ik inderdaad gemist
