The excitement is building for the new catalog which debuts this Friday, June 1st. In preparation, I’ve created a simple card using the “A Good Day” stamp set which will be carried over from the Occasions Catalog. I’ve paired this thank you card with a new color – Mossy Meadow! The ink pad you’ll see in the video is the new style stamp case. You can view another video I created with all the in’s and out’s of the new colors and this new style case by clicking HERE. I don’t know about you, but having new colors to play with is much like a new box of crayons – there are endless possibilities! In the coming weeks you’ll see lots more new colors being used so if you aren’t already subscribed to my blog, please do so. Subscribing provides you with an email update insuring you don’t miss out on any of the inspiration I will be sharing.
Today’s card is a simple 4″ x 4″ card with a masculine theme. I’ve also included the Painted Harvest leaf image and it’s coordinating Leaf Punch to add a little extra texture to my card. As always, I’ve included pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies for today’s card below the video so be sure to scroll down to see them.
I have several videos on using the Stampin’ Blends that will provide lots of tips and tricks:

CommentThank you Lisa, it is great to see different sized cards being demonstrated and those that can be used for the men in our lives too. :O)
Thanks, Lorraine! So glad you like it.
Simple beautiful card. So in love with simple. Thank you Lisa for your enthusiasm and talent to design such beautiful cards.
Hi Anna! I’m so glad you like the card. I love sharing what I create and so happy you find it inspiring. Thanks for following!
Lissa, I don’t doubt that you know this, but for the benefit of your followers, I wanted to mention that all Stampin’ Up markers and blends have tip indicators on them already. The fine tip end has a thin white circle just below the cap. The brush end has a thick white circle just below the cap. After 7 years of stamping, I just learned that. 🙂
Hi Karen! Well, I’ll be…I NEVER knew this and I’ve been stamping using Stampin’ Up! products exclusively for nearly 20 years! Thank you for the tip!
Your card is very classy and one of my favorites. You come up with such beautiful cards & excellent tutorials. Thanks for sharing; you’re the best!
Awww, you’re so sweet, Loretta! I’m so glad you like the card.
Hi! I love this card. I really love how you chose just one color with white, and the shade of green is really pretty. The embossed panel with the leaves, the wreath holding the sentiment and leaves peaking behind it.. such a gorgeous arrangement! Classy card indeed. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
