Here’s the scenario. You’ve got an entire afternoon of free time and you choose to stamp. Or, perhaps you’ve invited a friend or two over to stamp with you. It’s been a fun-filled time of laughing and creating. It’s now the dreaded clean up time. You look around and realize that numerous dies have been used and they are no longer in their correct storage envelope (or place). What appears to be a piece that goes with one die set may actually belong to another. After all, we typically have a few bows or balloon dies. Aside from opening up the catalog and identifying each piece, how can you tell which die goes where?
Today’s quick tip video has an easy solution! Did you know that Stampin’ Up! framelits and thinlits, made after 2016, have the item code stamped on them? If you look closely you’ll see the number representing which set the dies belong to. Clean up just got a whole lot easier!

Thank you for this tip!
You’re very welcome, Debbie. Thanks for stopping by.
I just watched your video, great tip. When you showed your package of the bike die set, it appears there was already something there for the bow. Did you cut ou the parts in paper and adhere them to the magnet sheet? I hope I am making sense.
Hi Anita! I have another video that shows a tip on storage and how to quickly identify if a framelit is missing. You can view that video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V77dvyHDBis&t=71s
OMG! Great tip, thank you so much! I have had a framelit on my desk for weeks and couldn’t figure out where it went; now it is back where it belongs…

Thanks for the help. Only recently I found out the blocks had the letters on them .couldnt figure out how people knew which were which.?
I’m so glad that this quick tip video was helpful, MaryAnn. Also glad you saw the letters on the clear blocks. It sure it helpful to know which size block you’ll need for the stamp sets in the catalog since they are noted in the description of each set.
