A little sparkle can take a simple card to a wow card. The Shimmery White Embossing Paste is easy to use and provides great texture and shimmer to this simple 4″x4″ card. The Pattern Party Decorative Masks include four different patterns. These masks/stencils can be used with ink, embossing paste or with the Stampin’ Spritzers.
The “A Good Day” stamp set has 13 different images covering every occasion from baby to birthday. This set was designed to fit in the 1 1/8″ and1 3/8″ scallop circle punches.
I added Clear Wink of Stella to the clouds of the image to highlight the shimmer on the card layer. The Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo were used to color the sun and the Pool Party marker for the rain drops. Remember to use Thick Whisper White cardstock when you plan on using the Stampin’ Blends. The color will blend easier and provide you with a crisper image.
This image caught my eye because it reminded me so much of a typical summer day in Florida. Between June and November we get a heaping dose of rain in the late afternoon. The sunny skies give way to a torrential downpour which typically only lasts a short time. Mnutes later the skies clear and the sun is shining again. The summer rains provide the perfect relief for our lawns and flowers and allows everything to remain beautifully lush and green. And it sure helps our water bill! ((smile))

Are the clouds that you made with the embossing paste cut out or does the appearance of demension come from the paste & stencil? Thanks for your posts!
Hi Sandy! The clouds are made using the stencil/mask and the embossing paste laid over the top. Once you remove the mask the paste provides a 3D type of look. You will need to allow the paste to dry and the drying time varies on how think you’ve applied the paste. The card I created here dried in about 15 minutes. Hope that helps.
Love this card, Lisa. Simple but quite nice. I must have missed that stamp set in the catalogue, even though I have been through it a few times. I’m bringing the catalogue to Beacon with me this weekend so our granddaughter Hayden can go through it. Thanks for sharing & always great tips!
Hi Nanci! This stamp set was new in the Occasions catalog and was carried over into the new annual catalog. It’s so much fun! Enjoy your time away. Glad to read you’re taking the catalog with you so you and Hayden can enjoy it together!
