Last Thursday night I held a YouTube Live event and shared this easy fun fold birthday card. I’ve seen similar folds where a simple layer of cardstock folds back to reveal the front of the card base. Typically the hinge is adhered to the backside of the card base but I wanted a clearer, finished look so I’ve redesigned the layout.
This birthday card using an “unlikely” stamp set – Wonderful Moments. This stamp set includes beautiful sketched images that are far more romantic and feminine. However, the cluster of balloons allows for lots of variation and I jumped at the chance to try something ‘out of the box’ with it.
If you missed this month’s free Stamps in the Mail card kit, it featured this same stamp set. You can see details about my Stamps in the Mail free card kit program HERE. We would love to have you join us for the August edition. Ordering for August will begin on August 8th and will feature cards centered around the Tea Time Bundle.
I’ve included the YouTube Live recording in today’s blog post along with pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies for this easy fun fold birthday card. I hope you’ll give this fun fold a try!

I haven’t even used this stamp set yet. I really had no idea why not? Thank you so much for sharing and sharing tips with us as well. You are awesome!
