Bunnies and flowers. What’s not to like? The adorable new stamp set “Best Bunny” has a coordinating Bunny Builder Punch that makes creating this adorable character both fun and easy.
I began by stamping the bunny images on Crumb Cake cardstock. The head, body, tails and paws are all separate images allowing you to create a multitude of poses. The Bunny Builder Punch punches each of those image out so there’s no fussy cutting. I used Glue Dots to adhere the pieces in place. The Best Bunny stamp set also includes three different facial expressions. There’s something for every mood!
Best Bunny and Flowers Card
I used the adorable cottontail to create the flowers, stamping then punching from Poppy Parade and So Saffron cardstock. And every bunny needs a little bling so I added rhinestones to the center of the flowers for a little pizzazz.
If you look closely you’ll see that I added color to the bunny’s ears and belly using the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. If you haven’t tried these alcohol based markers on colored cardstock you’re in for a real treat.
The grassy image was stamped and colored in using the dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I used the fine tip of the Basic Black marker to create the stems of the flowers and hand drew a few leaves.
A single loop bow created the perfect accessory to this card. Create your own following my quick tip video HERE. Not only are these single loop bows easier to create than a regular bow, they are a lot less feminine. Try using Baker’s Twine, Burlap Ribbon or Linen Thread for a more masculine touch on your cards and 3D project.
