I love DIY projects and today’s fall banner was created to hang in the entryway of our home. I was so happy with how it came out and how easy it was to put together. I’m hoping you’ll create one for yourself so I’ve included a video that will walk you through each step.

This DIY home decor banner can also be used for Christmas, showers, parties and weddings. Using the Large Letters Framelits provides the perfect customization to any banner you might need.

The Country Lane Suite of products is one of my favorites in the Holiday Catalog (pages 42-43). I used the Country Lane Designer Paper, Galvanized Clips, and the Country Home stamp set to create my banner. In fact, I loved this suite of products so much that it was the focus of this month’s free Stamps in the Mail card kit. I also used the Silicone Craft Sheet which worked perfectly for my use of the hot and liquid glue, both of which I used on this project.

I added lots of details to my banner but you can certainly simplify yours. Not only is this a great DIY home decor project but they’ll make great gifts! Consider using the words “joy”, “noel” or “merry” and create a party banner or diy wall decor for Christmas gifts that are perfect for family and friends.
