Raise your hand if you enjoy parties. Keep your hand up if you love receiving party favors to take home and enjoy? I thought so! And my perfect party favors typically include chocolate! If you’re new to following my blog I’m a self proclaimed choco-holic. If there’s a way to sneak it into one of my handmade paper crafts, that makes crafting all that more fun. You know the adage, one for you, two for me! 😛

Wonder how you can include party favors this holiday season on a budget? Use the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes to provide both a beautiful and economical way. Priced at just $7.50 for 16 boxes, you’ll have your guests raving about your party. And these boxes aren’t just for the holidays. Consider using them at your Thanksgiving table place settings, for wedding party favors, showers, and classroom party favors. Fill them with chocolate ((wink)) or add small novelty gifts for the kids.

In today’s video I used a very unlikely suite of products to create this elegant party favor – the Country Lane Suite. You might not think that Galvanized Metallic Paper, Chicken Wire Elements and the Tin Tile embossing folder can create anything other than farmhouse style, but take a look!

During today’s video I’ll provide tips on embossing the long strip of Galvanized Metallic Paper so there is no break in the pattern. I’ll also show you how the Chicken Wire Elements can be used in pieces to provide the perfect texture to this elegant bow.

I opted to include a tag on this box and I used the Country Home stamp set. The small oval framed stamp houses any of the four smaller greetings in this stamp set perfectly. I used Silver Stampin’ Embossing Powder for added shine and cinched the oval tag using the Silver & White Baker’s Twine.

I used a piece of Galvanized Metallic Paper cut 2″ x 9″. And to keep this project even simpler, there are no score lines needed! Tie it all up using the beautiful Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon and you’ll have a party favor your guests will be raving about – and wondering how you made it!
