Today I’ve got a card making technique | baby wipes background video tutorial that is colorful and can be used on all sorts of paper crafts from cardmaking to scrapbooking to journal pages and planners.
Techniques are a fun part of paper crafting and the baby wipe technique is definitely one you need to try. Whether you’re a new or seasoned stamper, it always provides a “wow”!
Today’s quick tip video will show you two different ways to use this baby wipe technique for your paper crafts. One, is what I’m calling, the swipe technique and the other creates a mock ink pad for stamping solid images. Regardless of your preference, the color combinations are endless and will provide you with sufficient ink to make a stack of cards. Wait until you see how many I created using the baby wipe technique!

Baby Wipes Background Pictures
This card uses the baby wipes as a mock ink pad. Whether using a border stamp or a solid image, you’ll be thrilled with the ombre of color. As a reminder, colors are placed close together so keep in mind that yellow and green will blend to make blue, orange and yellow will blend to make red, etc. The color combinations are endless so have fun!
This card uses the baby wipe technique “swipe”. Don’t worry about keeping your lines straight. Those wavy lines (whether intentional or not) create a whole lot of movement and texture to your card. This technique works best on glossy cardstock.
