Make this simple card making idea for kids young and young at heart! The Hello Cupcake stamp set is among the free selections during Stampin’ Up!’s largest sale of the year, Sale-A-Bration! Details on Sale-A-Bration are listed below.
Although the stamp set represents a cupcake, I took one look at the top image and thought “ice cream cone”! It’s definitely a simple card making idea and one that’s great for all ages.
This stamp set also includes an image for sprinkles and in the video I share an alternate idea versus the sequins shown here. Be sure to scroll down to see the pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies I’ve used on today’s card.

Simple Card Making Idea for Kids Young and Young at Heart Details
I used a trio of colors for this simple card; Poppy Parade, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green. Prefer chocolate? Try Early Espresso. Favor vanilla? Try So Saffron. The flavors are endless!
The Iridescent Sequin Assortment colors coordinate perfectly with many colors in the Stampin’ Up! palette. I chose a few and adhered them to the top using Fine-Tip Glue.
The texture on the cone is provided using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder. Not sure how to make the perfect cone shape? I’ve got that covered in the video, too!
This card was included in the Simon Says: Anything Goes challenge
