This is definitely a greeting card to show how much you care! Create this greeting card to show your appreciation or how much you’re missing your friend or neighbor. Need a thank you card for teacher? It’s that time of year and this would make a fabulous teacher card!
I used the Abstract Impressions stamp set (annual catalog page 129) and a stunning, yet simple color palette of Blueberry Bushel and So Saffron. The color combination was derived from the Garden Impressions Designer Paper (annual catalog page 191).
One of the huge benefits of today’s greeting card is the simplicity – three ink pads, one stamp set and a simple layout. Check out the details in today’s video then scroll down to view the pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies.

Appreciation Greeting Card Details
The background in this greeting card is created using an image from the stamp set. I inked up the posy image using the So Saffron ink, stamped off one layer on scratch paper to reduce the shade, and then stamped on the So Saffron cardstock. This tone on tone stamping is subtle and creates the illusion of patterned paper.
Did you notice the small area of So Saffron color in the center of this flower? You won’t believe how I achieved that? And no, it’s not a marker. Watch the video for this great tip!
Stampin’ Up!’s coordination is second to none! The Blueberry Bushel ribbon provides a simple and elegant tough to this card. With this simple layout you can create a huge pile of cards to show your appreciation. Who are you sending a card to today? Leave me a comment.
