Something in Common with the Hot Air Balloon Punch

Card Details

The golf ball idea was the first one I saw when I looked at the punch. Even I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it came together. I used the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins to add a bit of texture to the golf ball.

The Above the Clouds stamp set is a two-step stamp which allows you the option of coloring in the outline images or using the companion solid images to fill them, just like I did here for the flag. That image came in handy for this golf themed card!

Don’t miss the tips in the video about making the fringed grass, using a sponge dauber for the golf ball and creating the greeting.

The light bulb was the second idea I saw. I pieced the black step in the same manner in which I made the golf tee and added the lines using the chalk marker. The greeting is from the Daisy Lane stamp set. Don’t overlook greetings from other sets to complete cards with a unique theme.

The filament in the light bulb was created using the Fine-Tip Glue. After it dried, I added a clear heart epoxy shape to the bottom. I used a sponge dauber to add some color to the Whisper White layer to represent the illumination of the bulb. The greeting comes from the stamp set “Enjoy Life”.

The chocolate kiss was easy to think of since I’m a self-proclaimed choco-holic! The Silver Glimmer Paper represents the foil wrapper and a small white banner add the perfect “Hershey’s” touch. The greeting is from the Broadway Birthday stamp set – because I always think I deserve chocolate! 😆

And an alien card! Granny Apple Green was the perfect color for this space-age character. I used the Sprig Punch for the eyes – they’re the perfect shape!

I printed the greeting on Whisper White cardstock using my computer and added a coordinating Glitter Enamel Dot.
