5 Unique Ways to Use Your Dies Details
#1 – Creating Custom Frames Large or small, create custom size and shape frames using your dies. This easy technique allows you to expound on the use – and purchase – of your dies to make frames for card and scrapbooking. Mix and match the shapes with scallop dies for an even more unique look.

#2 – Partial Die Cutting This card represents a unique way to partially die cut each end of your cardstock layer, leaving a center area untouched, perfect for a large greeting or simple image. Don’t miss the additional partial die cutting idea shared in today’s video!
Cutting Dimensions
- Blueberry Bushel cardstock base is cut 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, score at 5 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock layer is cut 4″ x 5 1/4″

#3- Shaped Cards Strategically place the die and cutting plate to create a hinged card in any shape. You won’t believe how easy this is and these cards are perfect as gift tags on gift bags or packages. Create a stack and give them to a friend or teacher as a gift!

#4 – Die Traced Backgrounds Here’s an idea you may have never thought of. It’s so simple that even your kids can do it! Choose any die and trace either the interior or exterior circumference with a marker or colored pencil to create a custom background.
Cutting Dimensions
- Poppy Parade cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock layer is cut 4″ x 5 1/4″

#5 – Die Cut Stencils Pull out those intricate dies and use them as a stencil. I used a Sponge Dauber to apply my color and I’ve provided tips on getting the perfect subtle background in today’s video.

- Balmy Blue cardstock layer is cut 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
- Whisper White cardstock layer is cut 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
