Clean and Simple Fall Card Details
The “Come to Gather” Designer Paper in the Holiday Catalog includes both traditional and non-traditional colors. These rich tones also include patterns of wood grain that you can enjoy all year round. Some of the images in the designer paper can be die cut using the Gathered Leaves Dies, too!
A beautiful autumn card with unique color palette that is sure to delight any recipient!
Two different size pumpkins are easily created by simply trimming down one of the punched images. A Sponge Dauber was used to add shading to the pumpkins for added texture and I share a great tip about using them in today’s video.
Have you ever struggled with keeping the tension on our twines and ribbon when creating a knot or bow? A simple Glue Dot card hack works wonders. I’ve shared that tip and several others in today’s video.
Cutting Dimensions
- Early Espresso cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Pretty Peacock cardstock is cut 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Whisper White cardstock is cut 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Pretty Peacock cardstock layer is cut 3″ x 4 1/4″
- Come to Gather Designer Paper is cut 4″ x 5 1/4″
- I used two strands from the Burlap Ribbon measuring 18″ each

Idea #2
Simple wins! I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock and ink for the pumpkins. The color coordination with Stampin’ Up! is second to none!
Clean and simple cards can be so fun and so refreshing. This is a fall craft that even the kids can help with!
The same coordination was used for the stems with Garden Green cardstock and ink. This simple card uses a piece of 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock for the base and a layer of 4″ x 5 1’4″ cardstock for the pumpkins.
