Learn how to make favor boxes that are great gift ideas! Another big plus to these favor boxes is that they are budget friendly to make.

Whether you use them for holidays, birthdays,  wedding and shower favors, your guests will love receiving them. Fill them with s’mores packets, hot cocoa packets, teas, seasonings and other small gifts. I’ve created this box for a tween birthday party and filled them with nail polish, nail files and more! I’ve even packaged fuzzy socks for Christmas and had realtors use them for custom keychains for their clients. The ideas are endless!

Favor Boxes Idea #1 – S’mores Box – Details

Now is the perfect time to sit around a campfire and enjoy the fresh, crisp autumn air. And what better way to enjoy that fire than creating s’mores! This favor box is filled with three jumbo marshmallows which I stacked in a small cellophane bag and tied with a strand of Burlap Ribbon. I tucked the graham cracker squares behind a full size Hershey’s chocolate bar – because you can never have too much chocolate!

I used the Gallery Grunge stamp set from the annual catalog to create a subtle background using Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake cardstock. Stampin’ Up! color coordination is second to none, allowing you to provide the perfect subtle backgrounds that look like designer paper.

The Colorful Seasons stamp set is one of my favorites since it’s packed full of images you can use all year round. I chose to heat emboss the leaf image using Copper Stampin’ Emboss powder on Crumb Cake cardstock. Using the alcohol-based Stampin’ Blends markers, I colored in the leaf, using the darked color at the bottom of the leaf segments, working up with the lighter shades.

The Country Home stamp set has the perfect “enjoy” greeting for these favor boxes which was stamped in Early Espresso ink and punched out using the Classic Label Punch – perfect for those small greetings! A small double bow using strands of Burlap Ribbon and a touch of Copper Trim are the perfect small embellishments to this simple box.

Favor Boxes Idea #2 – Cocoa Box

This box is holding four Swiss Miss hot cocoa packets and cinched closed in a cellophane bag using the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. Instead of stamping the background on this box, I opted to use the Let it Snow Specialty Designer Paper.

That adorable cup is part of the amazing Cup of Christmas Bundle. And it’s so amazing that it will be the focus of the October card making kit. All those details will be shared HERE on October 9 so be sure to come back and see the completed projects of the kit.

Wondering where I got the “whipped cream” image for this cup? Watch the video! You won’t want to miss this tip!
