This adorable Christmas fun fold guaranteed to bring delight is the star of the show today. From buffalo check to Christmas tree, this greeting card will delight!

Flannel reminds me of cold winter nights snuggling by a crackling fire. And it definitely reminds me of Christmas. While we don’t have too many days a year to enjoy flannel here in Florida, I still love to include that feel in my holiday cards. The Buffalo Check background stamp is perfect for that flannel feel!

I purchase most of my background stamps in wood mount (available only in the U.S. with Stampin’ Up!) because I love using them face up on my work surface. No manhandling required. Not sure what I’m referring to? Watch today’s video for an easy way to use these large stamps!

Learning how to make a Christmas card that is handmade and glittery (glitter that doesn’t rub off I might add) is so fun!

Today’s fun fold card has a pocket with a slanted opening to hold the card insert. And the best thing about this fold is that it can be used all year long for different occasions. Consider birthdays, anniversaries and get well cards, too.

One of my favorite products in the Holiday Catalog is the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley. This all-inclusive bundle of products includes stamps, dies, designer paper, color stickers, tinsel trim, star embellishments and foil cardstock layers.

I used the large outline Christmas tree image and colored it in using my Aqua Painter and Old Olive ink. You don’t have to be an artist to achieve this look! I’ve got tips in today’s video. Top that tree with a foil star (the die embosses AND cuts!) and line the bottom with gifts eagerly waiting to be opened. This product medley has it all and you won’t be disappointed by the gorgeous gold accents represented in the designer papers and accessories.

Cutting Dimensions

• Real Red cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
  • Cut a slant on the front of the card base measuring 1 1/2″ from the fold and 2 2/3″ from the right side. Watch the video for details.
• Whisper White cardstock insert is cut 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″
• I used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper for the tree image
• I used 2 1/2″ of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon for the pull tab
